The Authorized King James Version of the Bible has been, and continues to be, the God honored, most accurate, and best translation from the proper original language texts of the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God for the English-speaking nations.

Now you can keep the excellent rhythm, cadence, and reliability of the Faithful Old King James Bible while simply adding to it footnoted definitions of uncommon words. The Defined King James Bible uses footnotes to define virtually all of the archaic, obsolete, difficult, or uncommon words in the King James Bible. It is a truly remarkable edition of God's Holy Word and an excellent tool for both staunch advocates and first time readers of the KJV. Perhaps best of all, the Defined King James Bible is produced by a Publisher that takes the same "KJV Only" stance as we do.

I love this Bible, I really do. I’ve had mine for 15 years and it’s “my” Bible. It’s the one I use daily and I even ordered another one to transfer notes in when the other when goes out on me. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the definitions aren’t 100% accurate for the KJV. I would still stick with a Webster 1828 dictionary for clarity and not rely fully on the definitions provided.

    My Favorite Bible

I own many digital versions of the holy bible (NET, Douay-Rheims, CSB, CSB Study Bible, Jewish Study Bible, ESV and ESV Study Bible, Lexham English Bible, RSV, ERV, KJV 1900, KJV Study Bible, NCV, NIV, NRSV). I also own a few non digital versions (Thompson's Chain Reference KJV, Thompson's Chain Reference ESV, ESV Pastor Bible, ESV Study Bible) It is very difficult for me to find a bible that I get excited about reading until I came across The Defined King James Bible. Last week I had discovered The Defined King James Bible on this website and had watched the video. I had ordered the leather Burgundy Thumb Indexed medium print version. I had received the bible today in the mail. For the price the bible is high quality (font, print, binding/format). I love how the archaic words are defined and it makes reading the bible easier to comprehend. There are no cross-referencing, footnotes, and red letters inside the bible and I am not a fan of cross-referencing and footnotes because I am not a scholar or bible student. Red letters would have been nice but that doesn't upset me. I think it is awesome that there is a section in this bible about the Defense of the KJB. So far, I am very happy and pleased with The Defined KJV Bible and I am addicted to reading it. The Defined King James Bible is my favorite bible and it is the only bible I am going to read for now on. If you are not interested in cross-referencing, red letters, footnotes and love the KJV and want to understand the defined archaic words I highly recommend The Defined King James Bible. Every penny spent on this bible is worth it.
