Turquoise Bibles are out of stock with a tentative due date of August 15, 2018.

Special Note: The newest edition of the KJV Midsize Center-Column Reference Bible - Turquoise Edition no longer has "Holy Bible" on the front cover. The dictionary has also been removed.

One of the Finest Large Print Reference Bibles Available, featuring outstanding quality in design, materials, and manufacturing, the King James "Turquoise" Edition is distinguished from all others. "Turquoise" does not refer to the color of this magnificent bible, but rather to the revered, formerly Out of Print, and much sought-after Cambridge "Turquoise" type-setting of the beloved King James Version Bible. The "Turquoise" Edition combines the rare combination of a Large Print 11 Point Typeface AND Center-Column References.

The Large Print and Center-Column Reference distinction is rare and important because most Large or Giant Print Reference Bibles will put the cross-references in the margin or blank space at the end of a verse. But the "Turquoise" Edition provides the familiarity of Center-Column References without sacrificing print size and makes this magnificent bible perhaps the closest competitor to the revered Allan Longprimer Edition. Yet featuring a luxurious Calfskin leather cover and "lined to the edge" smyth-sewn binding for extreme flexibility, and at only a fraction of the cost of the Longprimer... the Turquoise edition is sure to become a perennial best-seller with King James Bible enthusiasts.

The Turquoise type is large for ease of reading. The page size is generous, and the quality Calfskin Leather binding is handsome and durable. The "Turquoise" text of the King James Version is combined with comprehensive cross-references, a full concordance and dictionary, as well as a presentation page and family record section.

Leather-Lined Style:
The Midsize Center-Column Reference Bible - Turquoise Edition's "lined to the edge” style carefully joins the cover to the Bible, using several flexible components which eliminates restrictions and stress points often found in paste-off or glue-bound methods. This unique style of binding offers the utmost flexibility, thus allowing your Bible to withstand years of continuous use. The “imitation leather-lined” binding combined with Smyth-Sewn pages set this bible apart in terms of flexibility and durability.

The Turquoise Edition is Back!
The formerly Out of Print "Turquoise" edition from Cambridge was re-released as the "Presentation Reference Edition" around 2006 and then went right back Out of Print only a few short years later. Since that time, countless KJV Bible customers have sought after the "Turquoise" Edition. So much so in fact that it inspired this informative article:

THE BEST KJV center column reference Bible you can buy at any price! - Review by Dean

I am working on a complete review of this Bible that will include answers to EVERY question that premium-Bible-buyers could ask about this edition. THIS BIBLE IS ALL BLACK-LETTER (no words of Christ in RED). If that is acceptable to you, then get your money out and place your order ASAP! As far as I know, there are going to be no more than approximately 200 of them ultimately available, and then THAT'S THE END - NO MORE! I am informing all of you Allan & Schuyler & Oxford & Cambridge buyers to buy one of these ASAP. When you are fully informed about this edition and know what it is that you will be getting, you will never regret it. If you like black-letter Bibles, then this is the VERY finest combination of quality materials and Biblical content that I have EVER seen. FOR EXAMPLE - this edition (yes, I bought one) has the rare and wonderful "Translators To The Reader" introduction, as it was linguistically updated in 1873 by Scrivner. My full review shall follow on - so if you have more questions, contact The KJV Store. They take phone calls and they have been very nice to me. (Posted on 1/25/17)
