Best Giant Print KJV Around - Review by OscarI purchased the genuine leather, Smythe-sewn, indexed Sword Bible. It is outstanding! The page paper is quality, sturdy, & the print on other side not visible. The spacing between verses is ample and makes for more comfortable reading w/ less strain on the eyes. I whole-heartedly recommend this Bible for anyone looking for quality, value, and ease-of-use in a giant print Study Bible. My only recommendation to the publisher is that they also include a laminated copy of the Study Guide in the front of the Bible for easier reference, instead of having to flip frequently to the front during study. FLAWLESS!!!! - Review by BRIANI have ordered 5 total KJV sword study bibles 3 for myself and 2 for other people. I got the black ultrasoft , ordered the black leather and now I've got to get the walnut alligator. I got the suede for 2 of my friends. These bibles are absolutely amazing. You have the poetic flow and the truth of the kjv and the SIZE is PERFECTION...... Can't go wrong here they are great quality, I have purchased a lot of bibles and spent way more for bibles that aren't as good. Everything about these are a WIN..... (Posted on 12/7/16)
Pros and Cons - Review by BrendaMy absolutely favorite aspect of the Bible is the red letters for the words of God in the OT. The giant print is easy to read for no eye strain. I love the sword on the cover, and the verse, "thy Word is truth" and the large print, and that the bible is affordable. They didn't use the cambridge text, and I am not sure I trust all the easy definitions, neither did they necessarily accurately represented the names of God as Jehovah....is really Yahweh, etc. The study letter and number system is something that I haven't really used much yet, but now that I understand how it works more, I think it will be a great tool. Also nice extra helps, with larger then usual concordance. I have the bonded walnut one. I think in the future I will purchase the genuine leather edition. If you know your KJV and the names of God this is a great Bible. (Posted on 3/23/17)
Changes Words - Review by TrevorI really like how you underline word to define them, however in some words like "shew" you change it to "show". This is completely unnecessary, because you could simply underline and define this as well. I like the Complete Red Edition, but I was disappointed with the word changes. Now I don't really trust that this is the only word. There are probably others. You change the spelling of words, which is also unnecessary because most people that read the KJV know that the spelling is different. Please don't change any words, but define them like you do with the others. (Posted on 3/9/16)
