Shipping Information (General)
The KJV Store uses multiple Shipping carriers for all of our available shipping options. These freight carriers include but are not limited to UPS, FedEx, and USPS. UPS is our preferred carrier for most shipments. Shipment destinations include the Continental U.S. (including Hawaii and Alaska) all U.S. Territories (such as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic) Canada, and most International Countries. The KJV Store reserves the right to refuse shipment to any location for any order or any customer deemed as potentially untrustworthy or fraudulent by our shipping department. In such instances, all payments will be voided or refunded at our discretion and no products will be shipped.
We do not require a signature at time of delivery for any shipments. Our carriers are instructed to leave packages at a safe location on our customers property such as the doorstep or porch. This aspect of the shipping process is ultimately controlled by each individual delivery person/package handler involved at the time of delivery and ultimately not controlled by our company.
Shipping Cost
To view the shipping cost of any item or items simply add them to your shopping cart and click "Calculate Shipping". Shipping cost is calculated by the total weight of the items in your shopping cart and varies by available method. Cost appearing in the "Calculate Shipping" window is the actual cost and not an estimate.
KJV Store Shipping Network and Multiple Shipment Scenarios
In our effort to offer the largest selection of King James Version Bibles and Products in the world at the lowest prices possible, 99% of our products are shipped directly from our Distributors and Publishers to our customers. Our network of shippers includes nearly 50 warehouses/shippers accross the U.S. and this number is continually increasing as our product selection expands. In many instances, this allows us to ship customer products from a location much closer to them, rather than only from our Texas location. This predominantly allows for faster delivery times.
Because of the unique shipping scenario of our business, customer orders containing varying items, either by type or publisher, will often require more than 1 shipment. Regardless of how many different shipments we use to fulfill a given order, all shipments and items will be delivered within the estimated or guaranteed time frame of the shipping option purchased by the customer. Regardless of what freight is charged to or paid by The KJV Store, additional shipping costs will NEVER be charged to the customer. Standard Ground orders with multiple shipments may cause some items to not arrive on the same day. Regardless of the number of shipments used, we guarantee that all items will be delivered in a timely manner and as ordered by the customer or we will make it right for free.
Example: A customer orders an Old Scofield Study Bible Reader's Edition and an Italian Duo-Tone Names of Jesus Bible Cover and chooses Standard Ground shipping at Checkout. The Scofield Bible would ship directly from Lewis Bibles in Vermont, while the Bible Cover would ship separately from a Distrbutor in Pennsylvania. The items may not arrive on the same day, but will arrive within 5-12 business days. If the customer had order UPS 2nd Day Air instead, Both items would be shipped the same day via UPS 2nd Day Air, both items will arrive the same day, and the customer will only pay the freight charges calculated by the website regardless of what actual freight charges were paid by The KJV Store.
Expedited and Guaranteed Shipping Times
3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air guaranteed shipping methods are available for Continental U.S. Customers Only (including Alaska and Hawaii) on all items not otherwise specified on our website.
Expedited orders placed before 9:30 A.M. C.S.T. will be shipped Same Business Day.
Expedited orders placed after 9:30 A.M. C.S.T. will be shipped Next Business Day.
Some products may still be shipped same business day on orders placed as late as 2:00 P.M. C.S.T. but this cannot be guaranteed by our company.
Guaranteed/Expedited shipping is unavailable for all U.S. Territory, Canada, and international customers.
Please Note: The best method of assuring availability of a product or when an expedited order will ship is to call our customer service department at 1-800-310-0327. The only question we cannot answer is the one you don't ask.
Standard Shipping Times
At The KJV Store, we take pride in our fast-growing reputation for quality customer service. This includes quick turn-around times on orders. Many of our items are shipped the same business day while most are shipped within atleast 1 business day of the order being placed. There are some instances where 2 or 3 business days will be required for shipment depending on what products are ordered, quantity of products ordered, and which shipping partner is used for order fulfillment. Any mistakes or delays in shipment experienced by the customer will be addressed promptly by our staff.
Shipping Methods
Continental U.S. (48 States Only)
Standard Ground: Estimated arrival time is 5 to 12 business days, or as we like to say, "in about a week." Standard Ground methods include UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Parcel Post. UPS and FedEx do not deliver on Saturday. USPS Parcel Post/Media Mail is typically only used for destinations within the same state or one to two states away from the appropriate shipping warehouse. Tracking and Confirmation numbers are available upon request via email or phone. Standard Ground delivery time is not guaranteed.
3rd Day Select: Arrival time is guaranteed within 4 business days of shipment by end of business day. (Initial shipping day does not count as 1 of the 3 days according to UPS) 3rd Day Select freight carriers used are UPS and FedEx only. Shipments are traceable and insured. Tracking information is available upon request. Saturday delivery is unavailable. Delivery time is guaranteed by freight carrier only. The KJV Store is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to uncontrolable factors such as errors by freight carriers or inclement weather.
Example: 3rd Day Select order placed on Monday before 9:30 A.M. C.S.T. will ship same day and arrive on Thursday of the same week (Monday - ship day, Tuesday - day 1, Wednesday - day 2, Thursday - day 3). This means that 3rd Day Select orders shipped on Wednesday will not arrive till the following Monday.
2nd Day Air: Arrival time is guaranteed 2 days after shipment by end of business day. 2nd Day Air freight carriers used are UPS and FedEx only. Shipments are traceable and insured. Tracking information is available upon request. Saturday delivery is unavailable. Delivery time is guaranteed by freight carrier only. The KJV Store is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to uncontrolable factors such as errors by freight carriers or inclement weather.
Next Day Air: Arrival time is guaranteed 1 day after shipment by end of business day. Next Day Air freight carriers used are UPS and FedEx only. Shipments are traceable and insured. Tracking information is available upon request. Saturday delivery is available at some delivery locations for a $10.00 surcharge. Customer must call to ensure availability of Saturday Delivery and must have order placed before Friday at 9:30 A.M. C.S.T. Delivery time is guaranteed by freight carrier only. The KJV Store is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to uncontrolable factors such as errors by freight carriers or inclement weather.
Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories
USPS Parcel Post: Estimated arrival time is 3 to 5 weeks to Hawaii, 2 to 4 weeks to Alaska, 2 to 3 weeks to Puerto Rico and other U.S. Territories. Shipped by the United States Post Office. Confirmation numbers are available upon request via email or phone. USPS Parcel Post delivery time is not guaranteed.
AK Priority Mail: Estimated arrival time is 5 to 12 business days to Alaska. Shipped by the United States Post Office. Confirmation numbers are available upon request via email or phone. AK Priority Mail delivery time is not guaranteed.
HI Priority Mail: Estimated arrival time is 1 to 2 weeks to Hawaii. Shipped by the United States Post Office. Confirmation numbers are available upon request via email or phone. HI Priority Mail delivery time is not guaranteed.
2nd Day Air AK/HI: Arrival time is guaranteed 2 days after shipment to Alaska or Hawaii by end of business day. 2nd Day Air freight carrier used is UPS. Shipments are traceable and insured. Tracking information is available upon request. Saturday delivery is unavailable. Delivery time is guaranteed by freight carrier only. Canada
Canada Standard: Estimated arrival time is 10-20 business days and requires 2 shipments. Most KJV Store shipping partners will not ship directly to Canada. (We apologize for this inconvenience) Items must first be shipped to our Texas office and then re-shipped to the customer in Canada. USPS Airmail is our preferred Canada shipping method. Confirmation numbers are available upon request via email or phone. Canada Standard delivery time is not guaranteed.
International Countries
International Airmail: Estimated arrival time is 14-21 business days and requires 2 shipments. Our KJV Store shipping partners will not ship directly to ANY International Country. (We apologize for this inconvenience) Items must first be shipped to our Texas office and then re-shipped to customer overseas. USPS Airmail is our preferred International shipping method. Confirmation numbers are available upon request via email or phone. International Airmail delivery time is not guaranteed.
APO/FPO Military Shipments: The KJV Store is honored to ship products to all military personnel serving our country abroad. Shipments to FPO and APO Military addresses are via USPS Mail. UPS and FedEx do not deliver to APO/FPO addresses. Standard Ground will be shipped USPS Media Mail. 3rd Day Select will be shipped USPS Priority Mail. 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air shipments are unavailable. Customer should enter APO or FPO in the "City" field of their address and should select "AA, AE, or AP" from the "State" drop down menu. Shipments are only guaranteed to reach the destination entered at checkout. Responsibility for final delivery to the individual recipient rests with the particular military entity that handles each shipment, and not with The KJV Store. APO/FPO Delivery Time is not Guaranteed.
Inmate, Prison, and Correctional Facility Shipments: The KJV Store is honored to ship products to all inmates, prisons, and correctional facilities on behalf of those individuals and their families. We have been successfully delivering packages to prisons since our inception. Most prisons do not accept packages from individuals, instead requiring that shipments be mailed directly from a bookstore or publisher. Shipments to inmates and prisons are via USPS Mail. Be sure to clearly indicate the inmate's DC Number in the "Last Name" field. Also, be sure to order a product that is acceptable according to the prison that is being shipped to. Many prisons will not accept hardcover books of any kind. Most Softcover, Paperback, and Flexible Leather products are acceptable. It is the customer's responsibility to know the individual prison's policy before ordering. The KJV Store cannot be held responsible for shipments that are refused by a prison due to factors beyond our control. Prison/Correctional Facility Delivery Time is not Guaranteed.
